As a lifetime member and former girl member of
Girl Scouts, Donna Martin understands the impact that Girl Scouting has on girls and on the communities in which they live.
“We take the girls’ desires, wishes and dreams and weave them into life skills. We help them find themselves, their potential, their dreams and help them synthesize those aspirations
into a set of skills for success today and in
the future.”
Donna brings more than 30 years of leadership experience to her role as the CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Through her early career experience as an elementary school teacher, an extensive corporate leadership background, and a commitment to community through involvement in other non-profit organizations, she developed a passion for helping people, especially young women, grow and develop into all they can possibly be.
It is an exciting time for Donna, as Girl Scouts approaches the 100-year mark of serving girls and helping them discover their leadership potential. Donna’s dedication to developing the future generation of leaders through Girl Scouting will help successfully take us into the next century of our Movement.

Donna holds a Master of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois; and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois.
In addition to Girl Scouts, Donna and her husband Bill enjoy spending time on their farm in central Illinois and at their vacation home in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They have one son and three grandchildren. Donna maintains a regular exercise program, and enjoys the arts and travel.
