GSEM Resource Centers are special places, specifically developed to assist the busy Girl Scout leader, administrative volunteer and staff in planning and carrying out troop/group activities.

    Monday & Friday- 9 am to 4:30 pm
    Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 9 am to 6:30 pm
  • Saturday hours (10 am to 2 pm)

What’s Available (Resources for Volunteers)

  • Lending Library
    Access to Girl Scout publications and over 3000 books, videos, CD’s, and games to enhance badge requirements and troop/ group activities.
  • Equipment
    The Resource Centers have a variety of kits, flags, sports and other materials available for reservation.
  • Advice from the Experts
    Resource Center staff can answer your questions or point you in the right direction to get the answers.
  • Perfectly Effortless Program (PEP) Packets
    PEP packets highlight resources and services of the GSEM resource centers. Each packet explores a specific topic, offers activities, games, crafts and resources to enhance troop/ group activities.

    PEP Displays for each of the packets are also available for council-wide, district, and neighborhood events and can be reserved by the event or day camp director or facilitator as needed.

How to Check out Resources

  • Library Resources
    First come, first serve, in person check out. GS publications, games, DVD’s & CD’s are a two week check out item. Books are four week check out items.  
  • Equipment Reservation
    Complete a Resource Request Form, email, FAX or snail mail completed form to Emerson Resource Center. Pick-up is from the resource center, usually two days before use and returned two days after use. Some resources can by mailed. Check with resource specialist to see if this is possible for the equipment you are requesting.
